Kids in Action.

Dear Ms. Interiano

Thank you very much for serving as our sponsor for "Alphabet Juction" our 2nd. Annual Family Reading Fair.  Over 650 children and their families attended the event at the Bellevue Recreation Center.

Students from 18 schools in the Hollywood, Silver Lake, Echo Park, and Cipress Park communities in the 45th. Assembly District attend the event. I was pleased to see families enjoy quality time without incurring a financial burden. (Many of them come from low-income hoseholds.)

This effort helped to increase community awarness of literacy services and encourage parents and children to read to each other. As a result of our collaboration, each child who attend "Alphabet Junction" received a book, a gift bag, lunch and enjoyed an entertaining program.

Once again, thank you for your valued participation and commitment to our community. Please feel free to contact my office if we can be of any service. I look forward working with you again in the near future.
